Chomper io Games

Chomper is an instant-kill instant killer that appears in both Plants vs. series games. Zombies. It is an unlockable tree in the first game, and a premium tree purchased for real money in the second game.

Chomper attacks by grabbing a nearby zombie and immediately eating it. After a bite, Chomper will need a lot of time to chew and swallow zombies, and during that time other zombies can attack and kill it. When there are inedible targets within the range of the Chomper, such as graves or mechanical zombies and Gargantuars, it will not eat meat but instead cause damage to them by biting.

Chomper is probably based on the Dionaea muscipula, which resembles the Piranha Plant carnivorous plant of the Super Marios series. Its English name comes from the verb "chomp", meaning to chew it out loud, referring to Chomper's ability to attack zombies.

History

Plants vs. Zombies
Chomper is unlocked after the player has completed Level 1-7. After taking a zombie, Chomper will need a total of 42 seconds to chew and swallow the zombie completely before being able to eat another zombie. When encountering a Gargantuar or its more powerful version, Chomper will not eat this zombie, but instead bite it at a rate equal to the rate of fire of a Peashooter, with each bite being equal to 2 base damage.

Completing any level using only Sunflower, Wall-nut and Chomper will help the player achieve the Nom Nom Nom achievement.

Plants vs. Zombies 2
Chomper was launched on October 7, 2014 along with the Piñata Party introducing the Big Wave Beach part 1, and is currently available in the store for $ 3.99. Its chewing time is now reduced to 30 seconds, and each bite of it now equals 10 base damage.

Chomper cannot eat the following targets:

Gargantuar and variants
Barrel of Zombie Roller.
Imp Cannon
Zombie Bull
Pianist Zombie
Mecha-Football Zombie
Robo-Cone Zombie
Disco-tron 3000
Zombie King
Fisherman Zombie
Zombie Chicken and Ice Weasel (instead Chomper will bite and kill them immediately)

Description

Chompers.io is a competitive chomping game. Lead a little magical creature called “Chomper” to become the largest of all. Walk around and eat all the treats you find. Kill bugs roaming on the arena. Fight other Chompers using weapon of your choice: ent’s branch, fish wand, devilish trident, banana club, royal scepter, carrot mace and many, many more! Eating and fighting gives your experience which makes you bigger. Get bigger to become the Number One! But be careful - single hit means defeat. So use speed boost ability to run away. You can also use it to chase for more food. Unlock all the Chompers and customize their appearance to your liking: hat, shoes, eyes, mouth, weapon. Show them all how cool you are!
